MAAA Wings Forms
The Model Aeronautical Association of Australia (MAAA) is the governing body for aeromodelling in Australia and is affiliated to the FAI through the Australian Sports Aviation Confederation.
The MAAA Wings scheme is a level of flight proficiency that is nationally recognised by most clubs natioanlly. There are two levels of proficiency, bronze and gold wings. These wings are available for powered flight, gliding and helicopters. Wings are awarded after demonstration of the required proficiency. The bronze wings level is usually attempted after initial training and is generally recognised as the candidate is capable of safe solo flight.
