The TAA IMAC Summer Shootout, hosted 7-8 February, attracted many large scale aeromodellers from around the country. There were 25 contestants in total with a great range of aircraft type.

The rounds were keenly contested within every class of flying with places in the competition regularly changing over the two days. It was certainly a battle of stamina come the last round Sunday afternoon.

Congratulations goes to all the competitors who took part.

A freestyle flying display was lunch time entertainment on the Sunday. Thanks to Chris, who was a competing pilot, for a display that kept us on the edge of our seats.

Finally, special thanks goes to all of the TAA members who volunteered their time to make the day a resounding success. The number of members that helped ensured the day ran smoothly and to schedule.
